Chef Daniel at Rootdown Restaurant shows us how to cook

Rootdown Restaurant Chef Daniel connects the neighborhood to a dining experience in the same way ingredients are connected to food. He shares a few hours with us sharing how to create a wonderful tasting gazpacho. Wow, really tasty! Mike, a resident, says it is the best thing he has ever tasted. We thank Chef Daniel for coming to Spearly and showing off his talents.

Spring at Spearly

Springtime at Spearly is one of our favorite times. We enjoy planting, weeding, watering and smelling our flowers. Danny says the smell of the flowers makes him smile. Flowers nurture the spirit of our lives here at Spearly.

Spearly residents celebrate spring by planting, weeding and smelling
the flowers. Our residents take pride in nurturing life with their
flowers.

Weberleau Suite

This room is dedicated to long time residents John Webler & Tom Pomerleau. The name of the suite "Weberleau", is a combination of their surnames and honors their joint contributions to the life of our community. Both gentleman have passed on and the Weberleau suite honors their lives and spirits.
Both residents truly embodied the spirit of life. As residents of Spearly, they enhanced the community with their presence everyday. We fondly remember John's entusiastic greetings accompanied by his warm smile. Tom's deep baritone laugh along with his unique observations of his surroundings made those around him smile. John and Tom's golden spirit of life forever lives on in our hearts.

The Weberleau suite is meant to evoke calm and community for those nearing the end of life. It will be used for our residents and their close friends and family members as they are in their last days.

4th of July BBQ

Independence Day, commonly known as the Fourth of July, is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain. Independence Day is commonly associated with BBQs and family reunions which Spearly participated in. We had a tasty BBQ with great food such as brats, burgers, hot dogs with all the wonderful sides. What a great day with lots of smiles.
