In late September Juniper Village at the Spearly Center revived their traditional woodworking class. Our new environmental services director, Dave, has truly taken the lead for this class! We had nearly 10 residents participate in the first class. They created beautiful birdhouses which will be placed outside for the winter season. The birdhouses will be filled with seed and provide a cozy home for our feathered friends.
Residents took great pride in their craftsmanship and enjoyed showing off their hard work. Dave plans to continue his woodworking classes on a monthly basis.
