A Walk in the Park!

We love our visits to the park. "It is so relaxing and it gives us the opportunity to see animals and listen to the birds," says one of our residents. With such activities it keeps us growing and enjoying life. We are so happy to be a part of the Spearly Family.

Mother's Day Celebration

We are celebrating spring here at The Spearly Center with honoring our moms with a Mother's Day Tea. We also have given our mothers nice baskets to celebrate the special day. In the baskets are things like cookies, fruit, candies and teas. They sure enjoyed their day and we enjoyed nurturing their spirit of life!

Easter Fun

Happy Celebration! Dying of the Easter Egg shows off many of our residents creative expression. We had eggs striped dyed, eggs with polka dots, solid colored eggs, and other self creative made eggs. After dying the eggs the residents enjoyed a wonderful prepared meal which included ham, asparagus wrapped in carrots, mashed potatoes and many different homemade desserts with family and friends.

Slope Side with Spearly!

Spearly residents get up early and head to Breckenridge Ski area to show off their creative sides on the slopes. There is nothing better than watching those who have disabilities being able to ski down a snow packed slope. Skiing is a great way to show off creative expression and put a smile on someones face.

Awaken your passion #rd Annual Spearly Art Show

It was that creative time again at the Spearly Center when "art" speaks for itself. The day was filled with creativity shown through sketches, paintings, drawing and other ways of expressing artistic
style. Friends and family of our residents not only shared their artwork but they also enjoyed refreshments along with laughter. What a fulfilling day we all had, sharing in our creative expressions!
